Breakfast at our Deerfield Inn Bed and Breakfast is all about simple deliciousness. Hours are 7:30 to 10:00am for our house guests and other passers-by (Note: there will be an abbreviated breakfast offering on Tuesday mornings, January-March). We offer several hot items, as well as our house made granola, morning pastry, fresh-squeezed juices, and locally-made yogurt. Milk comes from happy neighborhood cows, and everything is made in-house from scratch. We can offer you a cappuccino, espresso or a big bowl of café au lait. Just what you need to set you up for the day ahead.
Lunch & Dinner
Our restaurant, Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern is a great place for a casual dinner, or for a quick lunch before setting out sightseeing. Our menus have core items that our guests expect to see here, but other dishes change seasonally depending on what is fresh and local and what farmers and foragers bring to our door.
Our wonderfully open but cozy Champney’s offers 12 beers on tap, a good wine list, our own infusions, and delightful and creative cocktails. Comfy chairs, fireplaces, and an eighteen seat mahogany bar set the scene to relax and chat with locals and guests alike. (Note: Champney’s is closed on Tuesdays, January – March.)
We believe that the best and freshest food is what’s grown closest to you, so we support farmers’ markets, family farms, and other sources of sustainably grown food in our area to be as nano local as possible. We invite you to gather at our New England table to celebrate with us our area growers, foragers, farmers, producers, and brewers. We are glad for the sustainable line-caught fish, the eggs from happy chickens, the meat from respectfully-raised animals, the dairy from hormone-free cows, maple syrup from our trees, and the hand-crafted local brews. We treat the land and its partners with the respect they deserve. We invite you to gather at our New England table!
