We are pleased to accommodate small or large group visits to the original and historic 1884 Deerfield Inn, which stands at the center of Old Deerfield just off the stretch of Routes 5 & 10 known as “The Golden Mile”. We are just ten minutes north of Yankee Candle, and moments to Magic Wings, Richardson’s Candy Kitchen, and the Old Deerfield Country Store (where coach groups visiting us receive a discount of ten percent off their purchases). The museum gift store is next door to the inn.
Historic Deerfield’s 12 museum houses line the mile-long Old Main Street and encapsulate the cultural history, art, and craftsmanship of the Pioneer Valley. Step-on tours, a 15-minute orientation film, visits to the museum houses and the Flynt Exhibition Center are available for group visits.
The inn’s restaurant uses the freshest and finest ingredients possible in its kitchen, and specializes in catering to group lunch needs. Make your selections from delicious and extensive seasonal lunch buffet menus (view a sample group lunch menu and March maple syrup menu). Enjoy the beauty and elegance of this old inn that has been catering to the food, drink, and lodging needs of gentlefolk in their coaches since 1884.
