We have two accessible rooms at our Deerfield, Massachusetts bed and breakfast – one with two queen beds in the main inn, and one with a king bed in the carriage house.
The attached living room has a gas burning fireplace, queen-sized sleep sofa, second large flat screen/DVD player, writing desk, and lovely light from large windows. A pocket door can close off the two rooms from each other for privacy.
These rooms are large enough to accommodate a third person on a rollaway bed. Two are in the main inn, the others in the carriage house. None of these rooms look alike, but they all have a writing desk.

These rooms are all different in look and color. They also all have tub and shower, but for one which has a Jacuzzi shower and heated floor.

Two queen beds with a couch for lounging. Two of these queens can connect to a traditional queen to make a private family unit. One of our rooms with two queen beds is handicapped-accessible.
One of our traditional queens has just a shower, while the others have a tub and shower. They have ample room to make yourself at home in, but there isn’t room for three. Back in the day a bedroom was all about the bed! (Cannot accommodate a third person.)
Perhaps it’s the light, perhaps it’s the colors, perhaps it’s the old four-posters, but these are our most popular queens, all of varying sizes. (Cannot accommodate a third person.)

Perfect for two people not burdened by steamer trunks. Just one of this room type in the carriage house, and perfect for families as it adjoins to the adjacent king-bedded room.

The service charge of six dollars per day which is applied on departure is for the housekeepers and breakfast crew to pool (a modest 50 cents each), but they are always glad if you want to thank them further if they have made your stay really super.

IMPORTANT SECTION FOR YOU TO READ
The rate for a third person in a room is $45.00. Local fire laws do not permit us to have more than three people in a room. Sometimes we count two small children as one person, so ask us if you have littles in tow, but we honestly cannot risk losing our hospitality license by putting four larges in one room. We have several rooms that connect to make families feel secure and happy. We can fit a rollaway bed into certain king-bedded rooms, and we have a suite and several rooms with two queen beds.
Everyone of all ages is welcome from babies and up. We have pack-and-play cribs and can line up a responsible, certified babysitter if you let us know in advance.
Food & Drink
A good country inn breakfast is included with your stay. We serve from 7:30-10:00 am. We make our own granola and yogurt, do our own baking, use only local hormone-free dairy, and our eggs are from happy, cage free, vegetarian-diet chickens.
Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern at the Deerfield Inn is open for lunch every day from 12:00-2:00 pm, and dinner is from 6:00-9:00 pm, Sunday-Thursday, 6:00-10:00 pm, Friday-Saturday. We also have an inn-between menu from 2:00-6:00 pm, and tavern small plates for late night guests looking for a little something with perhaps a pint of local draught.
We are a pet friendly Massachusetts hotel. Well-behaved, house trained, small to medium-sized dogs up to 35 lbs are welcome in certain rooms set aside for you and them. Doggie charge is $35 for extra housekeeping. We are happy to have two dogs in-house at the same time, but you must please call us ahead to see if one of those rooms is available to you. Please see our pet agreement for bringing your dog along for the ride.
Other reservation information
Some weekends and peak and holiday times require a two-night minimum stay.
Reservations are only guaranteed by a deposit equal to one night’s stay by a major credit card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard), check, or cash.
If your plans change we must receive notice of cancellation at least seven days prior to your scheduled arrival in which case we will gladly credit your deposit to another visit within six months, or we will refund your deposit. For last minute cancellations your deposit may be forfeited unless we can resell the room at the same rate. Please note that there are no refunds for early departures.
A $15 per room processing fee applies to all cancellations.
