Banquet Chef Required
Banquet Chef at the Deerfield Inn required.The banquet chefs job oversees the performance and output of the banquet kitchen team to deliver the executive’s chef vision and goals. Assisting in menu planning and recipe development, ordering quality ingredients and planning how dishes are to be presented, includes being a hands-on leader in the kitchen and being directly involved in preparing dishes. Managing the junior chefs, cooks and kitchen staff. Ensuring cleanliness, proper sanitation and safety are also key responsibilities.
The banquet chef’s position requires a culinary degree, excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, previous experience in managing banquets, and experience in menu planning and recipe development. Culinary versatility, problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability, and being able to perform well under pressure are also highly desirable.
