The Deerfield Inn is within a few minutes’ walk of Deerfield Academy and Bement School. Eaglebrook School is just up Pine Nook Hill, about five minutes by car.

It can be a real pleasure to not go for cookie cutter accommodations and to discover this charming, friendly, peaceful, original historic inn the heart of a National Historic Landmark Village – 30 minutes away and 300 years back in time, but with the pleasing modern amenities one expects when one is away from home.

If you and your student are thinking of attending these schools, you will certainly get a feel for them and the atmosphere of the village, as we are close enough for you to stroll up and down the street, and even around the grounds, to pick up the feeling of the life your student might lead: to see other students go about their business, perhaps talk to them, and see if they seem full of chatter, laughter, and purpose – all such a help in coming to a well-informed decision.

“I stayed there for a couple of days when I had to drop my daughter off to Deerfield Academy. It is a small nice carriage house. The rooms are very clean and the furniture and linens of the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed but we had a nice basket for breakfast every morning and a coffee machine available all day.”
